Introduction to Ice Climbing

Introduction to Ice Climbing image1

Description

Discover the fleeting world of ice with high-mountain guides in the Grandes Rousses Massif!

Starting from Oz en Oisans, Vaujany, or Alpe d’Huez, enjoy the thrills of ice climbing less than a 20-minute walk away. Usually difficult to access, ice climbing is now open to everyone and guarantees a unique experience. “Symphonie d’Automne,” a beautiful 70-meter icefall, is the perfect route for beginners looking to tackle a single-pitch or multi-pitch climb. As for the descent, rappelling at sunset is a moment not to be missed!
