Col de Maronne - Walk from Auris-en-Oisans resort

An easy-access walk to admire the heights of the Auris-en-Oisans resort. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. A great way to warm up!

With no technical difficulties and a gradual gradient, this hike is suitable for all the family. There are no tricky sections on the route, and it includes a picnic area, a barbecue area and a zip-line for children. TECHNICAL INFORMATION Start: Place des Orgières Ascent: 104 m Round trip time: 1 h Distance: 2.5 km Level: very easy MAP AND TOPO IGN TOP 25 map n°3335 ET Le Bourg d'OIsans L'Alpe d'Huez Map OBP n°2 (Oisans au Bout des Pieds) ITINERARY Start at Place des Orgières. Heading towards the Vacancéole residence, you take the route du col. Turn left around the residence, and you'll find yourself on the Col de Maronne track, which is shared with mountain bikes. Along the way, you'll find a picnic area with barbecue and a children's zip-line. Keep an eye out for marmots along the way. Just be careful not to scare them off! The Col de Maronne is characterized by the intersection of several trails. Once there, you can admire the view of the Uissans peaks. Then take the small path on your left back down to the resort.
