Mélanie Faus - Osteopath
Description
I am an osteopath who began my training in Canada (CEO) and graduated from the prestigious Collège Ostéopathique de Provence in Marseille. I specialize in sports osteopathy, perinatal care and infant cranial pathology.
Osteopathy is much more than an "alternative" manual therapy; it represents a holistic approach to well-being. Often referred to as the "back pain therapist", I go beyond musculoskeletal pain to treat a range of disorders including cardiovascular, digestive, genitourinary, neurological, ear, nose and throat and pulmonary. My extensive scope of practice makes osteopathy a truly captivating option, whether for acute or chronic pain.
After careful observation of your posture, I use fine palpation to detect the tensions and imbalances responsible for pain and discomfort. The body is an interconnected entity, where physical or psychological ailments can have repercussions in different places. Poor posture, previous trauma, stress and so on never affect just one system, but the whole organism.
Osteopathy offers a gentle manual therapeutic approach based on a holistic view of the structure of the human body, treating a variety of conditions. I can relieve sports-related pain, backache, sprains, stress, painful periods and migraines. My manipulations can be applied to a wide range of patients, including infants, children, athletes, pregnant women and senior citizens.
